Deborah has been working with nonprofits and start-ups since 1999. Her vision, to expertly guide and empower organizations to reach their pinnacle of success. With over 25 years in project and operational management in both public and private sectors, Deborah utilizes her breadth and depth of experience in organizational development, IT operational planning, and program design & implementation to help organizations leverage human and technological capital to meet their mission and vision. 

 

She brings a wealth of expertise, rare insight, and unrivaled versatility, having worked in a multitude of industries that provides her clients with a unique lens from which to tackle organizational challenges. PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  • Managed procurement, implementation and deployment of large scale Association Management, Learning Management and Human Resource Management platforms for mid-tier Associations and nonprofits including requirements gathering, system launch, testing, system processes and user training

  • Planned, designed and restructured organizational websites to improve community outreach, enhance user interface/workflow systems and broaden market penetration. Work scope has included requirements gathering, task analysis, information architecture, wireframe design, usability testing and graphic design interface

  • Managed development of a $12 million-dollar office facility build-out and a $20 million-dollar resort property from concept through construction. Corporate liaison to project owners, investors, general and sub-contractors, interior designers and vendors

  • Have managed the strategic planning process for both non-profits, start-ups and educational entities. Client work has included creation of vision and mission statements, organizational goal setting, analysis, strategy formation, strategy implementation and strategy monitoring.   • Designed, developed and implemented in-person and online training courses for K-8 and business entities. Course design included course objectives, step-by-step outline for delivery and student evaluation as well as Learning Transfer tools for learners and management teams. Topics ranged from assistant manager training, guest service relations, sales/reservation/customer service call training, supply management and lean manufacturing protocols to introductory courses to STEM fields for upper elementary youth and professional training protocols for California PA|PG|PC

  • Developed and maintained information technology functions for both non-profit and small business entities. Have spearheaded migration from PC to Apple platform as well as selection of key cloud services to mitigate operational overhead and streamline management of key HR and IT services including web/e-mail hosting, electronic filing, videoconferencing and CRM tools
